Travel to the university from your hotel by public transport For those participants who have the name badge, travelling by public transport in Miskolc town will be free between 30th of June and 5th of July. Name badges will be given at arrival to the hotel. Before 30th of June and after 5th of July you will need tickets for travelling. Bus and tram map of Miskolc city Summer bus schedule will be available from 15th of June Uni-Hotel If you stay at the Uni-Hotel you do not need to take public transport, you can walk to the main entrance of the university. It takes 10 minutes walk. City Hotel Walk right from your hotel entrance approx. for 200 metres. At the first bus stop you find take bus No. 22. or 31. The final stop of these buses is at the main entrance of the university (Egyetemváros) Hotel Öreg Miskolcz Walk right from your hotel on the street Horváth Lajos to the end of the street. Then cross the road (Kazinczy F. u.) and turn left. Continue your walk to the first bus stop, where take bus No. 22. The final stop of the bus is the main entrance of the university. Hotel Palace (Palotaszálló) in Lillafüred Take bus No. 5. down to the town. At the terminal station of the bus change for the tram No. 1. and travel 8 stops to the “Újgyőri főtér”. At Újgyőri főtér change to the bus No. 29. and it takes you to the University (for about 18 minutes). The bus stop is situated at the back side of the Uni-Hotel. From the bus stop you can walk to the main entrance of the university (for 10 minutes). Hotels at Miskolc-Tapolca (Park, Alfa Pension, Kolibri) You can walk to the university (from the Hotel Park it takes 15 minutes, from the Alfa Pension 25 minutes), or you can take bus No. 2. Get off at the stop “Csermőkei út” (3 stops from the Hotel Park, 4 stops from Hotel Alfa and Kolibri) then you can walk passing by Uni-Hotel to the main entrance of the university.
