Accommodation

Accommodation has been pre-booked at 5 hotels to provide suitable option for every participant of the conference.

Please find below a short description of the hotels and accommodation prices.

Uni-Hotel                            hotel website (www.uni-hotel.hu )

It serves the participants as hotel of good standard, recommended by the organisers of the conference. It is an entirely new 3 stars hotel, located on the University Campus, about 5-10 minutes walk from the Conference site.

The Uni-Hotel offers apartments of two separated bedrooms with shared shower, toilet and kitchen. Each bedroom is equipped with two single beds. These apartments can be booked as 1 room for single or double occupancy. In both cases one of the rooms of the apartment will be closed and only one can be used by the guest(s). The apartments can be booked also with two rooms for 1, or 2, or 3 or 4 persons use.

Exclusive apartments are also available, these include a double bedroom, living room, bathroom, a small kitchen with refrigerator, microwave oven, tea- and coffee-makers.

Limited number of triple rooms are also available.

Specially equipped single rooms for handicapped guests are available.

Solarium, sauna and massage service, aerobic and conditional rooms are available for extra charge.

Breakfast, local tax and parking are included in the hotel charge.

Hotel Palota (Palace) Lillafüred      hotel website (www.hunguesthotels.hu )

Hotel of high standard, located in Lillafüred, one of the most beautiful resort areas in Hungary, 15 km from the university. Shuttle coach will be provided to and from the Conference site. Public transport is also available to the city centre (approx. 40 min.) and to the university (approx. 1 hour). The Hotel Palace is surrounded by a hanging garden and a large park. Buffet breakfast, local tax, use of aerobic and conditional rooms, sauna, Turkish bath, Jacuzzi and 10-m long swimming pool are included in the hotel charge.

Hotel Öreg (Old) Miskolcz       hotel website (www.oregmiskolcz.hu )

Hotel of good standard in the heart of the historic downtown, 8 km from the university. Shuttle coach to and from the conference site will be provided. Direct public transport is also available, it takes 20 minutes from the centre to the university.

Breakfast, parking (limited places), local tax, use of sauna park (with wet, dry and infra cabins) are included in the hotel charge.

City Hotel Miskolc           hotel website (www.cityhotelmiskolc.hu )

Hotel of good standard in pleasant surroundings in the centre of town, 6 km from the university. Shuttle coach to and from the conference site will be provided. Direct public transport is also available, it takes 15 minutes from the centre to the university. Specially equipped rooms for handicapped guests are available.

Breakfast, local tax, parking and use of wellness services are included in the hotel charge.

Recently renovated student hostels of the university provide cheap accommodation to the conference participants. Hostels offer apartments of two bedrooms with shared kitchen and bathroom. Each bedroom equipped with two single beds. Apartments are equipped with refrigerators, phone, TV and Internet access. The apartments can be booked for 1, or 2, or 3 or 4 persons use on the same price.

There are renovated, really cheap 2, 3, and 4 bedded rooms are also available with shared bathroom and kitchen on each floors.

Local tax is included. Breakfast can be ordered separately on the registration form, it will be served in the University Restaurant.

Miskolc-Tapolca

Hotel of good standard in pleasant surroundings in Miskolc-Tapolca, on the hillside behind the swimming-pool, with a beautiful view. It only takes a 500-meter walk to get from the hotel to the Cave Bath, unique in Europe. It awaits visitors longing for some rest and real recreation, with newly discovered basins and germ-free air. A lake suitable for rowing a boat and a park are just additional facilities for amusement near the Cave Bath.

There are 18 apartments and 3 rooms in the hotel. The apartments are ideal for 2-3-4-6-member families. Each apartment is equipped with a separate bathroom, colour cable TV, telephone and refrigerator. You can choose from twin bed or double bed sleeping rooms in the apartments. The living rooms have an American-style kitchenette equipped with a cooking plate, sink and microwave oven. Cutlery and tableware are available in accordance with the number of guests. No kitchen can be found in the rooms. Shuttle coach to and from the conference site will be provided. Direct public transport is also available.

Miskolc-Tapolca

Clean and pleasant budget hotel, located in Miskolc-Tapolca. Miskolc-Tapolca is a resort place for 2 km from the University of Miskolc. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the conference site from the hotel.

There are 25 rooms in the hotel.

Miskolc-Tapolca

Hotel of good standard located in the heart of Miskolc-Tapolca, which is a resort place for 10 km from Miskolc town and 2 km from the university campus. It ihas a thermal bath surrounded by the wonderful forests of Bükk National Park. The Cave Bath located for 100 m from the hotel.
There are 22 rooms equipped with, bathroom and toilet, television and minibar, most of the rooms are air conditioned. Wellness centre includes fitness room, sauna, water massage, infra-cubicle, bubble bath, jacuzzi, steam-cubicle, swimming-pool. Hotel has a closed and camera-observed parking place for extra charge.

Lévay Villa Panzió           hotel website  (www.levayvilla.hu )

Hotel of good standard in pleasant surroundings in the centre of town, 100 m from the City Hotel and 6 km from the university. Shuttle coach to and from the conference site will be provided. Direct public transport is also available, it takes 15 minutes from the centre to the university.

Breakfast, local tax, parking and use of wellness services are included in the hotel charge.

You can make your reservation by filling in your requests on the registration form. Selected accommodation can only be guaranteed if booking is made by April 13 at the latest and if when the registration fee is received to the bank account of the conference. Even after this date, we will do our best to meet your requirements.

Registered participants can guarantee their reservation with transfer of the registration fee to the bank account of the conference until the 13^th of April. All the non-guaranteed reservations will be forwarded to the hotels after 13^th of April and depending on the availability, hotels will ask the usual reservation guarantee from participants or will cancel the reservation. Please do not send your credit card details to the conference organisers!
